St. Paul Yarn Spinners knit and crochet a variety of items including lap robes, prayer shawls and dishcloths. This group of ladies also makes the small blankets given to babies at their baptisms. For funerals, cross bookmarks are given to the families of the deceased. The Yarn Spinners donate many of the items to shut-ins, groups, and nursing homes in the area. Twice a year they sell items at their bake sale to raise money to buy yarn for projects.
How to Join: Women from the five parishes are welcome to join the Yarn Spinners at their meetings.
Meetings: The second Monday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m in the St. Paul rectory meeting room. The group does not meet in July and August.
