The Ladies of Charity at St. Michael the Archangel Church welcome women of all ages and backgrounds who want to minister to the spiritual and material needs of those who are ill, elderly or financially stressed.
The group is open to women of all professions, homemakers and retirees who are motivated by the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton to help others. The
Ladies of Charity are active in serving the poor in our parish and community as well as the elderly, the sick and others in need.
Visit homebound and elderly parishioners
Deliver Christmas and Easter gifts to the homebound
Send greeting cards to homebound, and sympathy cards to grieving families
Collect and donate items for various organizations helping the homeless
Event planning to meet community needs, i.e. blood drives
Pray for the sick and deceased
Meetings: Third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in St. Michael’s Parish Hall.
Time Commitment: Time spent each month by our members varies per individual and depends on the projects they volunteer for.
